Before the auction:
Take some time and plan out your bidding technique. Check out all the fabulous donors and the amazing items that are going to be auctioned off. Work critiques, consultation calls, and signed books! Oh my!
During the auction:
Come to this site and head over to the Auction Items tab. There will be a master list there with links to take you to specific auction items.
Bidding opens at 12:00 AM EDT on the first day of the auction and stays open until 8:59:59 PM EDT on the final day of the auction. No bids coming before 12:00 AM on the first day or after 8:59 PM on the last will be considered. You have 5 days to try to win the prize(s) you most desire and contribute to the good work being done by the The Every Voice Coalition and Lambda Legal!
You can place your bids in the comment section of the specific item in which you're interested.
After the winners have been announced:
After you've cleverly outbid all others, here's what you need to do to claim your awesome prizes:

Wait until the winners have been officially announced before donating your winning bid!

Go to either The Every Voice Coalition or the Lambda Legal websites and donate your bid amount. You have the choice to donate all your bid to one organization or split it between the two.

Once you've received a confirmation of your donation, please forward the email to writersforhopeauction@gmail.com, with the Item # in the subject line and you will receive the information you need to get in touch with your donor. If you won a book, please include the address where you would like the book sent in the body of your email.
