Jane Hare

Jane Hare is an Executive Producer, Producer, Director, and Writer who has worked her entire career in film, TV and radio production. She pitched her first production idea to the TV show YOU ASKED FOR IT when she was eight. In New York City and Minneapolis, she worked on award-winning breakthrough shows for MTV and PBS and in storytelling for Fortune 100 corporate TV projects. Jane produced her first documentary in 2003 about the role of Jacqueline Kennedy in the White House in conjunction with Marshall Fields department stores, The Field Museum in Chicago, and CBS News. Her work has been awarded the Prix Jeunesse Award (International), Hermes Creative Award (International), the MCA-I Gold Reel, and eight Telly awards; and nominations for the Producers Guild of America “Make Your Mark” competition, Accolade Award, Ollie Award (American Center for Children’s TV), and a Cable ACE Award. 


Since moving to Southern California in 2006, Jane has been a part of a dozen films including feature THE SAMUEL PROJECT (on Amazon Prime); shorts SCARS and THE FORGOTTEN PLACE, written by award-winning playwright Jeff Locker; IN THE DEATHROOM, a variation of Stephen King’s short story; THROW LIKE A GIRL; VICTIMS; and CHERRY LEMONADE, in conjunction with Women in Media’s CAMERAderie initiative. Her next feature, titled THIS SIDE OR THE OTHER is in pre-production. She holds a B.A. in Broadcasting from Kent State University and a graduate certificate in Instructional Design from the University of Wisconsin – Stout. Jane is President of Everon Media and President of SD (San Diego) Media Pros, a non-profit organization of media professionals.
