After an initial chat, and depending on the author's current situation, the mentorship can include anything from brainstorming ideas and plotting the novel, to analyzing the manuscript's structure, characters, theme, setting, and more, to working closely with the author on line edits and technical writing aspects, to preparing a submission package.
Kate Foster
Kate is a freelance editor, literary agent intern, and children's author represented by Alice Sutherland-Hawes at the Madeleine Milburn Literary Agency in London. She writes heartfelt contemporary and dabbles in a little horror from time to time, too. She's originally from England, but now lives on the Gold Coast in Australia with her family and dogs.
