Kelly Johnson

Kelly Johnson is a community engagement professional, writer, fundraiser and public speaker. In 2012, she received from American University her MA in Public History, with a concentration in cultural history in the United States. She works in nonprofit development and communications.

As a strong believer that communities of artists can effect real change in the world, she is also your friendly, neighborhood Writers for Hope auctioneer. When not auctioneering, she enjoys living in the snowy Northeast with two benevolent canine overlords, Medusa and Miss Marple, and a pair of emotionally fraught turtles.

You can learn more about Kelly through her appearances on 180º of Impact (2019)* How Are You, Really? (2021)* and Initiated Survivor (2022)*.
