Sahara Kelly
Born and raised in England, near Jane Austen’s Hampshire home, Sahara fell in love with the Regency at an early age. Her school years included the classics - Shakespeare, Hardy, Dickens, Defoe and others joined Miss Austen on her shelves. A love of reading bred an interest in writing, and after arriving in the US, she turned her hand to her first novel - a Regency - which was published the month before her son was born. That was three decades ago, and since then (with a bit of an interruption for motherhood), Sahara has maintained her love of the written word.
Entering the digital age was an adventure and discovering the sensual side of romance opened even more doors. Now completely independent and in control of her work, Sahara is enmeshed in the magic of writing her books in her own way, designing them, doing the cover art for them and publishing them on her own schedule. It’s exciting and fulfilling, and she cannot imagine doing what she loves any other way. Last year saw the release of her first titles in hardcover, and her latest series is turning out to be a fan favorite. Life in the Regency may be the focus of her writing - but life in Sahara’s world is every bit as adventurous! (PS. Sahara has never been to Bath in the UK. But she adores Photoshop. *grin*)
